Craft Board
"Craft board" (or craft wood board/hobby board) is a general term for sheet materials used in handicrafts, modeling, carving, Laser Cutting, and craft making; it is not the name of a specific type of material but a common designation based on usage.
Plywood (Craft Board)
The most commonly used type; these are thin plywood sheets (typically 2mm, 3mm, or 4mm) featuring basswood Veneers on both sides. They have a fine texture, resist splintering at the edges, and are suitable for laser cutting, model aircraft, architectural models, and DIY crafts.
Key Features (Craft Grade)
- Thin profile: Common thicknesses include 1.5mm, 2mm, 3mm, and 5mm.
- Flat surface; easy to cut, carve, paint, and glue.
- Common applications: Dioramas/scale models, woodworking DIY, puzzles, hanging ornaments, photo frames, handmade crafts, and laser cutting prototypes.
